Collaborate and provide support in the projects carried out by his/her unit/department, in accordance with the instructions given by his/her manager, in order to improve his/her work in both the decision-making processes and the implementation of the project. Responsible for management and technical and financial control of the operations with the support of all other company areas. They fulfil the planning, organisation, management and control duties within their scope of responsibility. They act on behalf of Acciona Concesiones in the different Boards of Directors of Concessionaires.

You will be required to manage processes improvement functionalities within assigned project.
Key Responsibilities
- Use of Lean tools to identify improvement projects
- Implement and coordinate continuous improvement projects in different projects and areas of the organization
- Implement projects to reduce the incidence of errors and nonconformities
- Implement projects to reduce the incidence of incidents/accidents
- Implement projects to optimize the number of project staff
- Train staff in Lean tools for continuous improvement
- Close and effective contact with all departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Perform internal operational audits / reviews in all facilities under assigned project.
- Perform regular visits to sites to observe operations, record necessary observations and suggest improvements.
- Review existing policies and procedures and ensure application in operations.
- Initiate & perform SOP review (initial & follow up) & procedures where inadequate or conflicting documentation exists in accordance with project standards.
- Observe and suggest changes to SOP where it is confirmed inefficient, or any change required due to operational changes, chemical change or tools upgrade.
- Ensure risk free work is being done at the assigned facilities.
- Performs appropriate query process.
- Support planning and educational processes within assigned project. Including making sure all compliance training is completed by all staff. If not – alert the L&D department.
- Develop & maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Meet established departmental goals/standards/KPIs
- Effective time and self-management and ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Suggest and implement departmental process improvements.
- Ability to streamline the process and procedures positively affecting the scope handled.
- Work closely with QHSE department under the management of Project Manager for update and enhancement of the policies and procedures of the company and make sure to maintain a documented system of policies and procedures.
- Design internal control systems for all sections of the assigned project to ensure the safeguarding of company assets and monitor and enforce internal controls.
- Ensure the timely reporting.
- Identify and manage resources to propose improvement projects.
- Assist in planning, implementing and execution of operations improvements to meet business goals.
- Work with management to define and schedule projects with short- and long-term objectives.
- Understand latest technology and industry trends to propose improvements.
- Take ownership of change initiatives for the benefit of the operations.
- To complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in operations, specifically in Facility Management.
- Preferably Engineering Degree
- LEAN Six Sigma certification
- Knowledge of Office Administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- A creative mind with the ability to suggest improvements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a managerial role
- High proficiency in English
- GCC market and/or international experience preferred
- Ability to build rapport. Strong cultural intelligence.
