Accountant Jobs in Qatar 2023 Full Job Descripation
To carry out core accounting processes within Barwa Real Estate in order to safeguard Barwa’s financial interests and ensure full compliance with accounting standards and internal policies as well as all analytical requirements of the accounting function are adequately fulfilled.
Ensure a proper and concise collection of relevant accounting information (all related representation allowances and other related travel monetary expenses) from various Barwa parties in order to acquire the necessary data needed in order for the personalized financial claims to be addressed promptly as well as Barwa’s financial position to be safeguarded.
Rectify and certify expenses pertaining to Barwa’s employees in order to safeguard Barwa’s financials and to ensure an accurate payment to the concerned external party.
Carry out the data entry of all invoices related to expenses / accounts in order to keep Barwa’s financial system up to date and to carry out further analysis when needed.
Report ongoing accounting activities to direct Senior Accountants in order to keep them abreast and informed with regards to activity status.
Assist in activities pertaining to collating / reviewing A/R and A/P to facilitate a prompter function of the Accounting Unit.
Assist in monthly closings and journal entries in order to generate concise standardized accounting statements.
Assist in the preparation of periodic bank reconciliation statements to ensure the adequacy of all monetary figures and information.
Prepare various documents (e.g. transfers) to be submitted to banks or any other party to ensure strict compliance with Barwa’s stipulated standards, policies and procedures.
Prepare monthly accounting schedule for closing purposes.
Remain abreast with latest International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other laws and regulations in order to ensure that work output is in conformity with accepted practices.
Assist in the liaison and at providing external auditors with relevant financial information in order to properly complete the external audit process
