For Qatar we are looking for an Asset Management Expert (f/m/d) for a duraton of 5 months.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Asset Management team and the Senior Manager in the review of the Asset Management Improvement Plan (AMIP) progress and to validate the data and processes being completed by the Service Provider in relation to the AMIP as well as the review of the data used for the Defect Management Processes
  • Review and validate asset data in the FRACAS database/register data and the the defect database across all 30 disciplines in Metro and Tram to ensure integrity
  • Work in conjunction with the AM team and the wider SDD and RKH engineers to ensure consistency of asset information and technical processes
  • Review MMS work orders to ensure FRACAS data across all disciplines is accurate across Metro and Tram
  • Validate asset management data produced by the Service Provider, including but not limited to Work order integrity, PCR codes, RAMs data and FRACAS
  • Validate inventory and warehousing data aspects and processes across all subcontractors
  • Perform any other asset management related task required by the Senior Manager Network Wide Assets across the 30 engineering discipline

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering along with substantial experience in the asset management field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience of working in a railway asset environment of which minimum of 5 years hands on experience in asset engineering within a railway environment and minimum of 5 years’ experience within one of the main railway engineering disciplines, including but not limited to rolling stock, signalling, civil infrastructure or electric/electronic/communications engineering discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in using at least one asset management system tool like SAP, Maximo, Oracle, Ellipse
  • Experience in building relationships with, and influencing a range of people at all levels within and outside the organisation
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of asset management within a railway environment, engineering standards as applied to railway assets and use of complex asset management tools
  • Skilled in oral and written English communication, with demonstrated skill in conducting engineering and asset audits
  • Demonstrated skill in identifying, analysing and solving problems
  • Extensive computer literacy in engineering applications
