About the role:

As a Airfield Development Specialist, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition:

• Support the department in the preparation and implementation of the ORAT for new apron areas, provide simulations, develop procedures, identify and document restrictions for airport users.
• Participate in the development of ad-hoc plans for special events
• Maintain and update the Parking Stand Manual with all changes or additions of new stands, aircraft types, etc.
• Plan and monitor the initiation of maintenance, remediation or expansion works.
• Review apron designs and drawings from an operational and compliance perspective.
• Coordinate and update ATC for the upcoming or ongoing works.
• Keep track of the incoming/responded RFIs.
• Run simulations to identify potential issues for aircraft operations on taxiways and aprons.
• Prepare risk assessments and or minor changes management procedures related to upcoming works or changes in the apron.
• Train the Airfield team on how to manage works in a live environment.
• Monitor the progress of the various short or long term works and expansion projects.

Qualifications

About you:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Airfield Operations and Planning.
• Experienced and fluent in the use of Path Planner / Avi-Plan.
• Desired Project Management experience.
• Excellent knowledge of ICAO ANNEX 14 / EASA AMCs.
