Summary:
The Retail Leasing Executive is responsible for the leasing of the retail units (shops) and ensures efficiency of the Property Management projects by executing and monitoring all the phases of the process, from negotiation & presentations through retail leasing completion process within due dates, coordination of all documents, authorizations and payments within due dates and establishes a trusting relationship between all clients.
Duties:
Lease Agreements Process and Execution
• Process and follow up on all retail lease documents to ensure completion. • Lead and update the status report and schedules for all retail properties phases.
• Prepare Retail presentations for property management
• Prepare Brand Principal Presentations for retail selection and criteria.
Assist with all the administration work for Property Department.
• Responsibility for Brands Registration process and execution (if any).
• Manage the flow of all lease related documents.
• Maintains files to ensure that documentation is up to date at all times.
• Prepares various leasing supporting forms for managerial approval.
• Collects and Maintains up do date contracts of all tenants and properties related to retail leasing.
Establish and Maintain Good Relationships
• Establish and maintain good rapport with clients, mall management (if any), and building management team.
• Represent the company in the highest professional and ethical manner at all times.
• Coordinate all legal, finance and administration matters between departments related to retail leasing. Units Reporting and Follow Up
Ensure approvals and authorizations from clients, official entities and authorities are executed on time.
• Ensure inspections and fit out process and regulations are within due date in coordination with Maintenance department.
• Communicates and coordinates corrective systems actions which involve system enhancements or process change.
Perform other task as assigned by direct manager.
Skills
1. Skills and Behavioural Competencies:
Strong working knowledge of retail leasing aspects in the real estate business, particularly in the Middle East.
A good understanding of the regional and local real estate/ property development market.
Ability to work under pressure.
Negotiation skills.
Customer oriented.
2. Language(s): Excellent Communications skills in Arabic and English (and vice versa).
3. Computer: Proficiency in MS Office Applications
4. Other: Holding a valid driving license in Qatar is required.
Education
Bachelors/diploma or equivalent.
