About the Role
This is an exciting time to be part of GEMS Wellington School – Qatar (WSQ). Due to the continued growth, success and ambitious nature of the school, we are delighted to be looking for a dynamic, hard-working and talented individual to join our secondary Humanities team. The department also offers a wide range of enrichment and fieldwork opportunities throughout KS3 to KS5, both on-campus and off-campus. Candidates should have a passion for leading fieldwork and enrichment activities within the department. These are integral parts of student learning experiences within the Humanities department.
We are seeking an inspirational teacher to join a team of dedicated specialists providing a world-class education to our students. Candidates should have a passion for the Humanities subjects with a proven track record of outstanding practice. They must possess a commitment to helping our students achieve their maximum potential and have experience teaching GCSE/IGCSE and A Level Geography along with a desire and willingness to teach History at Key Stage 3.

The successful applicants will have the following:
• A certified teaching qualification and an accompanying degree such as B.Ed., PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specializing in Geography/History
• At minimum 2 years of recent and demonstrable teaching experience across Secondary School, including GCSE and A Level, at a British Curriculum School
• Confidence in teaching the NCfE framework
• The desire to provide Outstanding teaching and learning
• The aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
