MATH Teachers Jobs in Qatar 2023 Full Job Descripation
A private school in Doha, Qatar is recruiting Math Teachers for Secondary grade levels to develop and deliver lesson plans in line with the UK National curriculum objectives.
Our client school is looking for an effective teacher to support and challenge our students to achieve their full potential. The candidate will have excellent teaching skills, with the confidence and presence to inspire our students at both KS3 & KS4 maths.
The successful candidate will be a highly committed team player with the drive, energy and passion to develop student potential. Applicants must lead by example and play a full part in the extra-curricular activities programme.
Successful applicants will need to be understanding of the ethos and mission, vision & values of our the school with a population of Qatari/Arab students. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, confident in establishing open communication with students, staff and parents.
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor Degree in Math from a recognized University in the UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA (Preferably the UK as it is a British school
- Teaching license/certificate for teaching Math from the UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA (due to Visa restrictions)
- Minimum 2 years of full time teaching experience in MATH at Secondary grade levels
CONTRACT DETAILS:
Start Date: August 2023
Location: Doha, Qatar
Working Hours: 7:30 am – 3:30 pm (approx) Sunday to Thursday
Salary: TAX FREE Monthly salary from 11,000 to 12,000 QAR depending on qualifications and experience
Visa and Medical Check Fees: VISA fees and Medical check done in the country are paid for by the school for Employee only
Dependent School Fees: 100% discount for tuition fees for 1 child attending same school as employee
Housing: 1-2 bedroom accommodation depending on family status or Housing Allowance
Utilities: Paid by school – QAR 300 for Singles and QAR 500 for family status
Air Fare: Annual air fare is covered for employee and one dependent (Spouse or child)
Medical Insurance: Medical insurance is covered for employee and one dependent
End of Service: 1 month Basic salary for each year worked, as per labour law
