Senior Consultant Transfusion Medicine Jobs in Qatar 2023 Full Job Descripation
We are looking to recruit a Transfusion Medicine Senior Consultant, to join one of the leading healthcare organisations in the Middle East – Hamad Medical Corporation.
- Clinical responsibilities include reporting on Blood group discrepancies, Antibody Identification work ups, positive DAT and antibody titres, and Transfusion reaction workups.
- Donor unit responsibilities including Donor eligibility and counselling, reporting on abnormal donor marker testing and antibodies.
- In-charge of Therapeutic plasma apheresis and Therapeutic phlebotomies.
To be eligible to apply for one of these positions you must;
- Have American Board/ CCT/Canadian Specialist Cert/ Australian or New Zealand Fellowship/Western European Board and have at least 6 and a half years’ post Board/CCT experience (if you possess CESR you are eligible to apply if you hold more than 9 year’s Consultant experience, post certification)
- Teaching and research experience
- You must be a registered Consultant
- You must be able to provide certificates of good standing
