Assistant Manager-DC Jobs in Qatar 2023 Full Job Descripation
Collect shipment schedule from Import Department and plan the receipt of new consignments in consultation with Senior Manager.
Receive new consignments, physical verification with invoice/packing list. Shortages, damages and discrepancies if any to be reported
Ensure distribution of goods (including scanning, hangering, tagging, ironing, packing etc) to the Shops after fixing of barcode labels.
Receive goods coming from Shops with proper verification with GTMs. Old goods to be re-arranged for price revision and redistribution to the Shops after fixing of sale price labels.
Collect defective damage and wrong/damaged pairs/pcs stock from Shops and sort them for further disposal.
Proper arrangement of stocks within Warehouse, making best use of storage space and ensure smooth movement of goods and convenient working conditions within Warehouse.
Customer delivery management (in Home Centre case), addressing routine issues, morning briefing to all outdoor/indoor staff, co-ordination with institutional sales team, etc
Ensure proper transfer of mail/documents including important mail (original passport, visa etc) between Office, Warehouse and Shops.
Collect Invoices, packing list and IPOs for incoming consignments and prepare space in Warehouse for the new consignments.
Obtain Distribution sheet from Inventory Controller and arrange bar code labels as per Distribution Schedule. Planning process for special promotions/Sales/ product launch/season launch/other events.
Supervise the loading and delivery of goods to the Shops/customers as per delivery program and prepare Daily Goods Control Sheet ensuring optimum utilization of vehicles.
Send samples of new consignments for pricing and for any other marketing purpose.
Replace barcode labels on the goods in case of re-pricing of goods.
Generate Monthly/Quarterly MIS and present function review to the management.
Supervise, Maintain, Coach and Develop team members and ensure staff attendance, overtime records, leave records, etc. Ensure upkeep and cleanliness of Warehouse premises always.
To identify new warehousing space, newer ways of increasing efficiency/quality/safety of work and reducing operational cost.
Handling and developing the existing Warehouse Team
