CERTIFIED SERVICE TECHNICIAN (Base level):

1.    Able to demonstrate basic service/maintenance operations (e.g., oil change, tire service, filter…) on motor vehicles.
2.    Able to identify and explain the basic service required in English (business language) while working on motor vehicles.
3.    Able to identify the required tools to complete basic service/maintenance on motor vehicles.
4.    Able to complete basic diagnostic work.
5.    Able to complete a basic safety check to ensure vehicle is safe to be handed over to the customer.

EXPERT TECHNICIAN (Mid-level):

6.    Demonstrate the repairing and overhauling of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
7.    Able to identify and explain the repairing and overhauling of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components in English (business language) while working on motor vehicles.
8.    Able to identify the required tools to repairing and overhauling of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
9.    Able to complete complex diagnostic works on all vehicle components.

MASTER TECHNICIAN (Top level):

10.   Able to demonstrate advanced diagnostics based on manufacturers manuals/processes and tools.
11.   Demonstrate effective communication skills when dealing with customers.
12.   Able to identify and explain advance diagnostics in English (business language) while working on motor vehicles.
13.   Is able to complete all tasks from base to master level on motor vehicles.

Experience and Knowledge

• Work experience in a dealership service outlet conducting routine services on automobiles.
• Technical knowledge of various service requirements and diagnosis of issues – one or more of the following automotive disciplines: mechanical, electronic, electrical, transmission, air-conditioning
