Mechanical Technician – Rotating Equipment

We can offer you the following tasks:
Maintenance of all types of rotating equipment, compressors, turbines, pumps and motors including strong knowledge of mechanical seals and seal system.
Carries out routine maintenance on rotating equipment, carries out visual checks of seals for leaks, disassembles equipment, replaces parts as directed, cleans equipment, replaces packing and gaskets, repairs as appropriate, checks bearings and reassembles.
Carries out routine preventive maintenance of machinery according to schedules, check lists and specific equipment requirements. This includes changing oils, greasing, cleaning strainers and filters and general overhaul of equipment. Repairs and or replaces defective parts, reassembles overhauled equipment and carries out necessary tests and performance monitoring upon start-up
Ensures correct alignment and tolerances, using precision measurement instruments, such as laser alignment equipment, DTI clock gauges, micrometres, gauges and verniers.

Assists in planning annual shutdown and major equipment turnarounds and carries out complete overhaul rotating equipment.
Reassembles and tests equipment in accordance with requirements or tests schedules.
Assist in inspection of equipment for its healthiness
Strict Adherence to Plant Safety Protocols & Good housekeeping
Comply with all Project HSE requirements i.e. PPE, work Permits etc
Complies with the Company Code of Conduct and MAN ES Guidelines.
Has been familiarized with, and actively applies, all other company policies and procedures applicable to areas of responsibility (including but not limited to: safety, environment, legal etc).

You can help us with these qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of rotating equipment maintenance engineering and services.
Experience in machinery rotor balancing
Oil and Gas Experience essential
Proficiency in English – speak, read and write
Demonstrate a good understanding environmental regulations and requirements.
Ability to influence and drive contractor to improve safety, quality, and production.
Comparable vocational education with longtime related work experience or equal
Mechanical Engineering Degree / Diploma/ ITI or
