We are hiring a Technical Sales Service Engineer, for our Branch TROUVAY & CAUVIN Trading and Services LLC based in Doha – Qatar, ideally with Qatar Transferable Visa, and ready to start at the earliest.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be the key person in charge of our offshore/onshore services implementation and achievement in Qatar.

You should be able to set up actions plans and/or countermeasures to meet monthly service agenda and annual targets and report to our international partner as well as our clients

The position will give to the candidate the opportunity to grow in developing and managing a complete Service team (recruitment, training & coaching) covering the entire area and establish a Service workshop in Qatar along with a warehouse for spare parts (Service delivery hub for the Middle-East region).

Your duties will include:

• Providing solutions to periodic and statutory inspections,
• Handling the in-house and on-site operations,
• Performing the on-line diagnostic inspections but also repair of valves
• Planning and overseeing all service deliveries, issuing technical reports given to the customer,
• Analyzing customer needs coming from the customer maintenance and procurement department and preparing relevant quotations related to service,
• Ordering the spare parts as necessary,
• Managing the customers (end users/contractors) and partners relationship,
• Monitoring the day to day Quality Assurance and Technical Assurance activities,
• Dealing with customers claims
• Monitoring the Health, and Safety practices, ethics and codes of conduct within his department,

Knowledge and skill requirements:

• The candidate should have a valid Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and a steady experience (3 to 5 years mini with proven technical knowledge in industrial valves and their maintenance at site.
• Strong experience in overhauling and valves maintenance is required
• Additional experiences such as actuators maintenance and commissioning , instrumentations systems implementation, or similar products will be an edge

Full understanding of Dry Docks / Shipyards operations and work processes thanks to previous experience(s)

• Professional verbal and written communication skills in English,
• Open-minded, excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Leadership and management skills,
• Mobile and willing to travel at short notice,
• Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications-knowledge of Microsoft Office.
