Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote Masimo products within an assigned geographic territory, negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services.
  • Plan and execute strategies to convert accounts (single departments and/or the whole hospital) to the use of Masimo products in a high-competitive market.
  • Closure of competitive and exclusive products, positioning Masimo’s technology as the new standard of care in pulse-oximetry and other noninvasive blood parameters’ monitoring systems.
  • Implementing strategies and tactics to ensure market penetration, sales goals and the establishment of new accounts.
  • Strongly promoting new and existing products with support of relevant clinical study results.
  • Managing small projects for multiple clients within own environment.
  • Performing product presentations to customers for maximize visibility and image.
  • Networking with senior internal and external professionals in own area of expertise.
  • Normally part of a larger sales group, but with independent responsibility for sales target in assigned area.
  • Demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and problem-solving techniques.
  • Performing technical and clinical support to customers at hospitals
  • Collaborates with inside sales and marketing teams to optimize area coverage.
  • Understanding and selects the right promotional tactics to optimize sales.
  • Performing first line education for customers at hospitals.
  • Maintaining close customer contact and relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Working with the manager to develop and deliver on account plans to meet revenue targets.
  • Participating in delivering winning offers as response to tender requests.

Requirements:

  • Strong and proven commercial track record of selling both disposable products and capital equipment to hospitals and the ability to communicate value based solutions
  • Three or more years of Medical Device Sales experience. Patient Monitoring systems highly advantageous.
  • Must be PC literate, have excellent organizational, communication, writing, and project management skills
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Strong influential skills – gaining commitment through effective influencing and stakeholder management.
  • Advocate to get strong buy–in from customers as well as from management.
  • Strong selling skills on top of being excellent in building relations.
  • Strong teamwork and facilitation as being a member of teams.
  • Listens actively and responds constructively to needs and views of others.
  • Results oriented with a positive “can do” attitude and a sense of urgency to get things done.
  • Delivery; get the job done, meets or exceeds expectations and exhibits a sense of urgency on critical time dependent issues.
  • Persists despite obstacles and opposition.
  • Demonstrates the ability to prioritize.
  • High technical and/or clinical experience/education.
  • Good skills within sales, communication and education.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree education in medical science

Languages:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language and English.
