The candidate should be a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our client’s team in the shipping and logistics industry in the Middle East. The candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding their customer base through strategic planning and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities BDE:
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base in the Middle East region.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential and existing clients, industry associations, and other partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, presentations, and other sales materials to showcase our services and solutions.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to network and promote our company.
- Negotiate and close deals with potential clients and manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract signing.
- Monitor and report on sales metrics, including pipeline, revenue, and customer acquisition, and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets.
Qualifications for BDE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development in the shipping and logistics industry in the Middle East.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer base.
- Strong understanding of the shipping and logistics industry, including customs regulations, freight forwarding, and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-driven mindset and a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Fluency in English, with additional Arabic language skills being an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
