Design Manager, Electrical
Required Qualification:
4-years degree in Electrical Engineering.
Required Experience:
15+ years
Responsibilities:
- Review, coordinate, and monitor the works of electrical designers in line with their scope of works.
- A key function is to manage the responses of the RFIs (design and construction RFIs).
- Review and provide comments on change orders by the designers and contractors and provide review comments on design reports. Provide technical assessment, innovative ideas and support Client and private developers regarding existing/future electrical network and extra load issues in compliance with local authority regulations.
- Prepare electrical RFP’s and technical scope of works whenever requested by client or project team
Requirements
- Due to visa restrictions, we can only consider candidates that are already based in Qatar.
- Grade A MME registration required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Qatar/GCC region in similar project like Lusail City.
- 4 year degree in electrical engineering
- Proficient experience is required in electrical engineering in infrastructure, utilities and landscape projects involving design and construction of electrical HV, MV, LV, ELV, SSD, Telecom, street lighting, landscape lighting and other systems.
- Demonstrate previous PMCM experience.
- Good written and oral communication. Proven ability to perform key technical role as a design manager for a project similar to Lusail City.
- Experience in testing and commissioning of these systems thorough knowledge of local authorities regulations and industry practices.
