About the role
This is the second level position in the function of the proposal. The focus is on learning the internal process and combining technical knowledge with customer service skills to manage activities for the effectively. Works under minimal supervision to acquire skills and knowledge. Seek opportunities to learn, gain experience, and advance.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Instrumentation / Mechanical.
- Must have at least four years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys, install-base mapping, demos, proof-of-concept implementation, lead generation
- Interact with the principal’s designated focal point for site visit planning on a weekly basis
- Prepare budgetary proposals in coordination with the Proposals Engineer
- Identify technical, commercial & contractual risks to ensure evaluation in bid submissions to management & client.
- Analyze existing and potential markets to identify and secure business development opportunities.
- Assign responsibilities and coordinate with Petrotec EPC & services team.
- Must be able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Preparing weekly/ monthly progress reports, slide shows presentation, and participating in proposal strategic meetings
Skills & Competencies:
- Good communication (Verbal & Written) & interpersonal skills.
- must be well-versed in MS Office, outlook, word and excel packages
- Valid Qatar Driving License.
- Must be bilingual with good communication skills in English & Arabic.
- Ability to work with multiple discipline teams.
