Lead Finance Officer Jobs in Doha, Qatar 2023 Full Job Descripation

• Support business initiatives by participating in any new business discussion and ensure required number of cashiers and relevant cash float, counting and sorting machines are ready before the implementation date.
• Ensure Performance Excellence and driven to deliver the Qatar Duty Free (QDF) and Qatar Aviation Services (QAS) Excess Baggage and Porterage Finance Cash Office activities.
• Consistently review the Finance Cash office process and introduce process improvement in line with CASE (Centralise, Automate, Simplify and Eliminate)
• Review the cashiers shift duty schedule and ensure sufficient number of cashiers are on duty for each shifts.
• Manage system issues including the unposted and offline batches by ensuring the matter are escalated to the IT team at the earliest. Monitor and ensure the issue is resolved.
• Review the Credit Card disputes and ensure that all the disputes queries are responded in a timely basis.
• Communicate and arrange with Bank for any new request or issues related to Credit Card Point of Sales machine and Cash in Transit service (CIT).
• Perform monthly review on the account reconciliation and ensure the balance sheet schedules for all QDF accounts are submitted before the timeline set by the Record to Report department.
• Ensure the monthly closing deadline is followed and necessary sales posting and financial entries are updated in ERP before the period close.
• Perform regular check to ensure that the cash office cash counting equipment such as currency counting and sorting machines are functioning properly and communicate to the line manager and arrange for the machine servicing when it is required. Replaced the cash counting equipment after the depreciation period are over and ensure the amount is included in the yearly budget.
• Ensure the IAP and SOP procedure are followed by cash office staff.

• Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience; OR
  • High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience
• Good understanding of cashiering process.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Good communication skills and able to work under pressure.
