General Description
This job is located in the Department of Toxicology and Forensic Chemistry at the Criminal Laboratory Department. The incumbent is responsible for conducting all chemical and physical examinations and analyzes of detainees, highlighting cases, and preparing the necessary technical reports in this regard in coordination with experts. The incumbent has a small amount of discretion in dealing with issues within the limits of approved laws, regulations and plans, and the work he performs is subject to careful review by the line manager.
Duties and responsibilities
1. The incumbent is subject to the direct supervision of the competent head, and the incumbent performs a set of works and operations according to procedures that require knowledge of the field of work.
2. Participate in the analysis of materials and physical traces of a chemical nature obtained at the scene of the accident.
3. Participate in conducting analyzes on clothes, soil, dyes, cars and other suspicious materials received from the security departments, and prepare technical reports on their results, in coordination with experts.
4. Participate in the process of examining “paints” and dyes and identifying their types, especially in traffic accidents.
5. Participate in examining inks and determining their types.
6. Execute what is assigned to him in the field of work.
the required conditions :
Obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
Required experience:
Not less than (5) years in the same field after obtaining the academic qualification
