Software Project Management Specialist Jobs in Qatar 2023 Full Job Descripation

The Software project management specialist will be responsible for bridging the gap between business and IT sides, as well as leading IT projects as required. You will have many responsibilities that includes typical project management responsibilities to support the automation projects across the organization. You also will be required to attend training as needed and support all project activities.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to the PMO lead and the management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Identify, define, and document key processes and business requirements.
  • Create Use Cases for business applications and work with IT teams to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications through technical walkthrough meetings.
  • Facilitate structured Root Cause Analysis, Requirements and Brainstorming sessions.
  • Measurement and able to translate that into technical specifications.
  • Facilitate improvement project teams to analyze business processes and identify efficiencies, controls and integration points with other business processes and sub-processes.


  • University Degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering or any related subject
  • Project Management degree or PRINCE2/PMP Certified is a must
  • ITIL Knowledge & certification is a plus
  • Proven track record in managing ERP Software Projects

Knowledge, skills and experience

    • Proven knowledge and experience of process management methodologies & business analysis methodologies.
    • Strong knowledge in SDLC
    • At least 5 years of Software Project management
    • At least 5 years in business analysis, process analysis, business application development
    • Used to work in multi-national teams located in different places.
    • Knows how to deal successfully with multi-cultural differences.
    • Efficient interaction with C-level Managers, Clients and Internal Departments
    • Fluent English mandatory.
    • Proficiency in the use of computers for:

-MS Project -MS Visio

Will be a plus if you have knowledge in

  • Any programming language ( Preferred PHP )
  • AWS tools
  • Data Base Administration
  • Web Security
