Job Title: Lead Change Management Specialist

Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is a private, chartered, nonprofit organization, founded in 1995 by His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Father Amir of Qatar. Guided by the principle that a nation’s greatest resource is the potential of its people, Qatar Foundation aims to develop that potential through a network of centers devoted to progressive education, research, and community welfare.

Brief Description
To implement and support key financialmanagement improvement initiatives across the Foundation. To focus on leadingpractice change management programs and develop set of recommendations to drivethe implementation of change management initiatives.

Detailed Description
Apply a structured methodology and lead change managementactivities, Assess the change, impact, and Complete change managementassessments.

Manageprojects’ tasks and timelines to ensure that set deliverables achieve targetedsystem and process improvements.

Leadday-to-day tasks effectively and collaborate with other stakeholders across QFto implement improved processes and systems in line with projects plan.

Collaboratewith the Financial Project Director to define and implement strategic solutionsthat align with QF’s priorities and develop recommendations to drivedecision-making.

Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans – including communication plan, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan.
Identify and manage anticipated resistance to the development and delivery of initiatives
Assist with the development of strategic plans and initiatives to address organizational priorities.
Support communication efforts, Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities.
Coordinate efforts with other specialists, Work with communication, training, HC and OD specialists in the formulation of particular plans and activities to support project implementation.
Evaluate and ensure user readiness, Manage stakeholders
Assists with the development and implementation of requirements for projects from inception to conclusion in the organizational effectiveness subject matter area.
Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business Management, An advanced degree is preferred (Post-graduate)specializing in project and change management; Experience in working in amulti-cultural environment which calls for meeting of deadlines and “resultsorientated” achievements.
  • Vital to beable to establish harmonious and effective working relationships in a complexmulti-business organization. Excellent command of the English language.
  • Arabiclanguage ability will be an added plus but is not mandatory.
