Assistant Engineer – Mechanical Jobs in Qatar 2023 Full Job Descripation
To supervise the technicians to ensure the plant equipment are running smoothly as
per the operating specification. Monitor and maintain records.
Troubleshoot and rectify minor problems. Identify the root cause and arrange to raise
SO if jobs have to be carried out by contractor.
To perform emergency support duty at times.
Supervise and manage contractors to deliver quality works, complying with EHSS
regulations.
To record any system failure, report to the Senior Engineer and prepare incident
report.
Review parameters recorded by technician and to take necessary action if there’s any
discrepancy.
To escalate any emergencies immediately to the respective management
To train technicians on new equipment, CAFM, emergency escalation, etc.
To check daily attendance & overtime details.
Any other duties assigned by superiors
Requirements
- Diploma (Mechanical / HVAC)
- Minimum 5 years work experience in related field
- Must be able to lead a team and be hands on to do trouble shootings
- Able to work independently
- Able to speak read and write English
- Able to manage difficult subcontractors from different nationalities
- Able to multi-task and take work pressure well
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS & TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- Must have Valid Passport and Willing to be Relocated in Qatar.
- Complete Educational and Work Experience Certificates
- Fully Vaccinated
Benefits
Minimum 2 years Contract
8 hrs Standard Duty Plus 1 Hour Break (Anything above shall be treated as Overtime as per Qatar Labor Law)
6 days per week duty, 1 day off per week (in case of cancel off, OT shall be treated)
Maximum of 2 staffs per Room (Staffs shall be staying by Nationality Wise)
Joining Ticket and Quarantine shall be provided by the Company
QAR 3000 – Basic Salary
QAR 200 – Ticket Allowance
Other Allowances shall be provided based upon interview.
