The Technical-Commercial reports to the Commercial Director of TROUVAY & CAUVIN Africa. He/She is responsible for the management and development of his/her turnover, for the customers, products and divisions which have been assigned to him/her, while ensuring the growth of the profitability of his/her activity.
The Technical-Commercial carries out the commercial and administrative processing of its customers’ orders with a view to quality (service, cost, time, etc.). For this he/she travels frequently (around 80% of his/her time visiting customers).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Relations with customers and prospects:
- Promotes the products and activities of the TROUVAY & CAUVIN group on assigned markets,
- Develops, follows and maintains close relationships with existing customers and prospects,
- Identifies and seeks new opportunities for all group products,
- Prepares and submits quotes and commercial offers in accordance with customer requests and internal sales conditions,
- Ensures the follow-up of offers and technical and commercial negotiations,
- Receives and confirms orders, processes them via the ERP system,
- Write weekly visit reports.
Relations with suppliers
- Selects local and foreign suppliers for material supply and maintains relationships with key suppliers,
- Follow up on supplier quotes,
- Reviews supplier’s offer to ensure it is in line with customer requirements and within authorized limits.
- Provides monthly reporting to the strategic partners/suppliers that the company represents.
- Organizes customer visits in collaboration with the company’s strategic partners/suppliers in order to develop sales and services
Sales and after-sales follow-up:
- Organizes and monitors order deliveries with the various third parties involved (suppliers, freight forwarders, authorities, customers) until invoices are issued and paid for.
- Follow up on payment .
- Handle customer complaints.
- Is a force of proposals to develop all other sales, services and partnerships.
