Your new role, what’s involved?
I provide technical support across our company; in person, remotely or over the phone.
I resolve employee issues and requests in a timely and professional manner.Respond to IT incidents and requests at my main office location and during visits to site offices in the Middle East.

I provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution, and recovery for hardware/software problems.
Monitor, report and contribute to the resolution of problems related to shared IT services (audio/video, printers, Wifi, cabling, networking, etc.)
I prepare and replace computer workstations, and decommission computers as per the established processes.
I troubleshoot technical faults and work with external vendors and service providers to achieve fault resolutions when required.
I direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
Identify and document recurring problems and make recommendations for corrective measures, as well as participate in their implementation when possible.I rigorously maintain the inventory of IT assets in the CMDB.
Participate in various IT projects including the IT scope of office relocation and renovation projects.
Develop collaborative relationships with office managers to better understand their IT challenges and work with the IT leader to address these needs as effectively as possible.
I propose improvements to our systems, processes, and the way the IT support team operates in order to improve our service to the business.
Lead IT induction sessions with a group of new employees to explain where they can find support resources and how to use our systems.
Guide and train employees on best practices whenever possible and needed.
Develop collaborative relationships with employees to personalize and improve the service.
Contribute to the documentation of IT incident resolution processes. I grasp technical concepts and principles quickly and am always looking to update my knowledge and skills as technology advances.
I have excellent communication skills with the ability to discuss technical issues in simple non-technical terms.
I am excellent in both written and spoken English.
I am customer-focused, with the ability to provide a high level of service to internal customers.
Excellent organizational skills and able to apply clear thinking and structure to my daily way of working.
Able to travel to the project site offices as frequently as required and occasionally to other Middle East regional offices.
I am ITIL certified and have an in-depth understanding and experience of the ITIL framework.
Experience and knowledge of ServiceNow.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
Degree or certificate in computer science or other computer-related discipline.
I can work independently in a self-directed manner and collaboratively as a team member in the accomplishment of goals.
